Work with Us!
Interested in joining the collective? Learn more about how working with Thrive can be a positive, supportive experience, when that can sometimes be difficult to find in our field. I am passionate about truly helping clinicians thrive.
My name is Muirenn, and I’m the founder of Thrive Therapy NW. I was always frustrated by the lack of work options and barriers for new therapists. It seemed like everywhere I turned, there was a group or system out there taking advantage of their newest and most vulnerable clinicians. Since grad school, I have always felt drawn to helping other clinicians as we navigate 1) a very difficult system, and 2) very difficult jobs! I want to foster a place of support for others in the community, and this is why I have expanded my solo practice to a collective practice. I want new therapists to know that there are ways of working around a difficult system, that you have power and control in your success, and that you can have a positive experience on your path to getting established. Like my values in approaching client work, I value a safe, supportive space for therapists to work as comfortably as possible. I’m highly motivated to help other therapists succeed.
Joining Thrive gives you the option to be in-network with insurance (both as an associate and a fully licensed therapist), learn how to bill insurance (if you want to), learn how to run a successful private practice, gives you access to an office, and gives you dedicated guidance, support, and consultation as you grow. Plus, I offer one of the highest paying 1099 options in the area.
You have two options when joining us - you can choose to either do insurance billing only, or to become an official member of the collective. Each option has different benefits. Read below to learn more.
-
For associates and fully licensed clinicians: Billing through us gives you the option to take Premera, Lifewise, Anthem, and some BlueCross BlueShield plans through my group NPI. I can teach you how to submit claims, or I can do it for you. With this option, you are fully your own independent private practice and do not get the additional benefits that members get.
For fully licensed clinicians only: In addition to billing the above insurances, you can also become contracted with Regence through our group contract, which allows you take Regence, Asuris, and all BlueCross BlueShield Plans. Joining a group contract is a quicker option, typically taking about 30 days compared to individually contracting, which takes about 60-90 days.
Billing only is a 1099 contract position that is a 90/10 split for your insurance clients. You keep 100% of your private pay earnings.
-
As a member of Thrive Therapy NW, you get the same benefits as a billing only member, in addition to:
Part time use of an office
Advertising/marketing through our website, Psychology Today, referral lists, and social media
Training on how to set up and run a private practice
Help/support on how to panel with insurances
Optional bi-weekly consult group
Members are 1099 contract positions with an 80/20 split. A caseload of 10 insurance clients or more is preferred.
Want the benefits of being a member, but don’t want to take insurance? You can join us for a flat fee of $250 per month.
