About Brenna
I decided to become a therapist after realizing how deeply meaningful it can be to have someone truly listen and walk alongside you in difficult times. My own lived experiences gave me a first-hand understanding of how overwhelming life can feel—and also how healing it can be to have support in making sense of it. Those experiences drew me to this field, and they continue to shape the compassion and empathy I bring to my work with clients.
In addition to my lived experience, I’ve always been drawn to the human condition and fascinated by how people connect, heal, and grow. I find immense fulfillment in supporting others as they build self-acceptance, resilience, and deeper connection in their lives.
Outside of sessions I spend time with my kids, ride horses, and immerse myself in nature. I also enjoy quiet routines at home—good meals, a favorite show, and unhurried time with people I care about.

My Background
My Approach to Therapy
My approach to therapy is relational, holistic, and trauma-informed. What this means in practice is that I aim to create a safe, supportive space where you feel genuinely heard and understood. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a collaborative relationship—one where you can bring your whole self into the room without fear of judgment.
I draw from psychodynamic, relational, and interpersonal frameworks, and I often integrate polyvagal-informed practices, mindfulness, and self-compassion into the work we do together. These approaches honor the wisdom of the nervous system, make space for exploring parts of the self, and support you in noticing patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
At the heart of my work is the belief that nothing about you is “too much” or “not enough.” Your thoughts, feelings, and protective strategies all make sense in the context of your life. Together, we’ll work to understand them with compassion, while also creating space for new possibilities and ways of being. My goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself and others, so you can move forward with a stronger sense of authenticity, resilience, and meaning. I offer virtual appointments on Monday and Tuesday, and in-person appointments in downtown Seattle on Wednesday and Thursday.
